My lust list

All of us, I’m sure, have a wish list squirrelled away somewhere. I know I certainly do. So while I am still feeling flush from my latest pay cheque, I thought I would share with you my own personal list of must-haves and would-likes. Here are my top five:

1. Columbia Bugaboo black women’s trousers

With the ski season over, now is the time to snap up skiing goodies in the sales. At the moment, my beady eyes are fixed on this pair, but I am also tempted by these more outlandishly coloured trousers from Burton (although I’m not convinced I could pull them off).

2. Nike Legend 2.0 Tight print leggings

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these. Gone are the days of boring gym wear and running gear! Cool patterns and funky designs are the new norm. My plain black Nike leggings have served me well, but they don’t impress the cool gym crowd. I am convinced that I would be even more dedicated to the gym and running if I had a pair of these leggings. I don’t want them, I need them.

However, these would also suffice.

3. Lowe Alpine AirZone ND 32 Women’s Rucksack

My trusty bag that accompanied me in Mayrhofen ‘mysteriously’ broke while in storage, so now that I am bereft of a comfortable, waterproof rucksack, I have been shopping around. Walking rucksacks always seem to be pricy for what you get, and this one isn’t much of an exception. However, this is a lust list, and in my dream world, I would buy this bag.

I have to admit, the pink zips on this rucksack really sold it to me (yes, I really am that sad). I also like that this bag has an attachment for my walking poles – very handy if I don’t want to carry them. Practical AND pretty – it’s a win-win situation.

4. Trekking holiday in Peru or Canada

I’ve long fanaticised about trekking along one of the Inca trails in Peru. I know it is touristy, but I wouldn’t mind doing the walk up to Machu Picchu, or trying out a spot of white water rafting. I’ve never been to South America, and I think that the experience would be outstanding. This holiday package sounds rather amazing.

Canada is also one of my top places to visit. The adventure holidays offered by this group sound fantastic.

5. Ski chalet

OK, now we are on to the obscene, but I thought that this was a fitting end to my list. I have been drooling over some of the gorgeous chalets in ski resorts and I certainly wouldn’t say no to staying somewhere like this. I can dream, can’t I?

What are the top things on your lust list?
